The Lemon Tree S1 is by all means, an amplified pine/lemon terpene selection of the original lemon tree. On an even smaller and slower growing plant, if you can believe that! Sometimes, feminized S1 seed can be regretfully inbred to the point of low vigor. One advantage of having plants like that, can be their ability to display significant hybrid vigor when outcrossed. Which in our experience, This lemon Tree S1 does in spades. Believe it or not, but the smaller S1 produces larger and more robust plants than the Original Lemon Tree clone, when hybridized with the exact same pollen donor. In our testing, depending on the pollen donor used, this S1 Lemon Tree produces the superior results. And therefore we use it, in replacement of the original, where applicable. One of the benefits of a robust selection process and testing. These really are a great replacement source for a productive Lemon Tree/Lemonade brand type plant... without all the negative growth traits of the original clone.
