The method which the scammers are using to take advantage of you are as follows:
One of the quick tell tales of a fake page is that they will have comments disabled to prevent other followers who know they are fake from warning new followers who don’t yet realize it.
Once the scammer gets the person to engage with them in the DMs, or email, they will ask for payment via one of the following methods:
*We do not accept any of these methods of payment!
The only form of payment that we accept is credit card payment direct through the website using this portal below.
We will never solicit you via DM or Email for payment directly. If you aren’t paying with a credit card through the website, you are getting scammed.
We will never DM you on Instagram nor will we ever respond to DMs on Instagram – if you think you are communicating with us on Instagram, you are NOT, you are communicating with a scammer, be careful!
Legit Instagram Pages
We have only 2 legitimate Instagram Accounts, the rest are scams.
@archiveseedbank (currently disabled)
@archiveseeds (currently still working)
Scam Instagram Pages
Below is a list of scam Instagram pages that we are aware of. This list is by no means a complete list because a scammer can make a new account in a matter of minutes:
@archiveseedSbank – This is the most active scam account, beware there is an S in this name but it is cloned and looks almost exactly like our previous account which is currently disabled. This scammer even went as far as to put “deleted at 185k”
Many of the scammers drive traffic from their fake Instagrams to a fake Telegram page.
We have one Telegram where we are not active and that Telegram is:
Our Telegram is currently not active, we will never offer anything over Telegram unless specifically advertised through the website. We will never ask for payment through any of the following methods:
*We currently do not accept any of these methods of payment*
The only form of payment that we accept is credit card payment direct through the website.
We have two email addresses:
email@example.com (please check to make sure the URL spelling is exactly as it is in our website
firstname.lastname@example.org (please check to make sure the spelling matches exactly, a scammer can make a protonmail account using .’s or _’s at any time.
Regardless of whether or not we communicate with you via email, which we do, you will be sent an invoice and asked to check out via credit card and we will never ask you to pay using any of the following methods:
This is the only legit website for Archive Seed Bank, please bookmark this site and make sure there are no extra characters. Just as a scammer can clone an Instagram page, they can clone a website and make a one off name with a .com, .net, .org etc. These are a bit easier to get taken down because we have the trademark and ICANN will assist in seizing a website and the registrar keeps a record of the individual behind them and credit cards used to set them up. That being said we wouldn’t put it past someone to try so please stay diligent.
As we have noted many times on this page, we currently only accept credit card through the website at the cart checkout. In the future, if we expand our payment options, those payment options will only be accepted at the cart checkout, we will never DM, Email, Telegram, or solicit you in any other way besides an invoice link to this legitimate website for payment.
We understand how frustrating this is and apologize for the inconvenience, we are working as hard as we can to communicate with Facebook/Instagram to get these scammers accounts deleted as well as working to get our page back up and verified for the future to give our customers the ability to differentiate the real Archive Seed Bank from the fakes.
